Part of my work at Silverlign is helping with the Mattel retail site, so when the opportunity to work on the Barbie Collector website—a site that clocks almost 1.5 million visits in a month—came along, I was all ears. The previous site design, while flashy, exhibited some considerable user experience oversights; bringing my knowledge of user experience and user interface design to bear, I helped clarify header navigation and layout, as well as create new landing pages for the shop and showcase categories.
